2014 Golden Globe Awards Best & Worst Dressed

Let’s face  it,  no one really cares about who won,  it’s all about who wore what and how well they did it so let’s get to it!

My #1 pick of the night goes to up and coming star, Lupita Nyong’o! The gorgeous and talented star of 12 Years A Slave, wore an amazing red silk cape dress by Ralph Lauren. She went for minimal makeup and classic studded earrings. For her first red carpet appearance, this girl knows how to make a statement!

Kerry Washington showed off her growing baby bump in a sleeveless dress by Balenciaga. It was simplistic, yet elegant “Olivia Pope” style!

Sophia Vegara and looked amazing in a black strapless “Cinderella” style gown by Zac Posen and statement necklace by Lorraein Schwartz.

Kate Beckinsale looked stunning in strapless fitted metallic gown by Zuhair Murad. It’s hard to believe with a body like that she is 40 years old!

Not so hot from left to right:
Aubrey Plaza from Parks and Recreation. Now this dress isn’t the worst, however I was expecting a little more from the asymmetrical style. By that, I don’t mean the gigantic purple bow that sat in back of her dress! Not feeling this one Oscar de la Renta!

Emma Watson wore a coral colored dress by Dior Couture that featured a tie sash and high split in the front and was backless. What made it more interested is that she wore black skinny trousers underneath it. This might work at The Kids Choice Award’s however, not at the Golden Globe’s!

And if there was a “Favorite Worst Dressed Award,” it would have to go to Zoe Saldana. Her designer friend, Prabal Gurung reportedly said, that this was a dress “only she could wear.” Uh yeah…the only thing I can appreciate about her look are her shoes, which are by Christian Louboutin!

Since it’s awards season, I guess I’ll be seeing you again real soon! It’s been fun!
