The 2014 Grammy’s Best and Worst Dressed

I must say, the Grammy’s is definitely my most favorite award show when it comes to fashion. It’s like watching the perfect and the not so perfect marriage between an artist and a designer! Wouldn’t you agree?

Taylor Swift

This talented young lady looked gorgeous in a short sleeve chain mesh gown by a favorite of mine, Gucci Premiere!

Crissy Teigan
The newly wed looked amazing in this fitted strapless gown with deep plunge by Johanna Johnson.

Paris Hilton
Guess who has another album coming out this year??? The wanna be songstress showed up looking all grown and sexy in this House of Milan gown that featured cut outs at the sleeve, along each bottom side and the back.

Tamar Braxton

We are not sure who created this gown, but I do know that the R&B singer looked amazing in her strapless body hugging mermaid dress. “She” no doubt worked the red carpet in this one!

Colbie Caillat

Very…shall we say glamorous? The distinguished one shoulder gown by Dubai designer Ezra Santos, featured a cut out that cascaded across the bust line and ended with a mini train.

One of my favorite and very talented artists in the industry, Pink, looked stellar! For her first time in red, she rocked it in this Johanna Johnson gown!

Now, on to some of the worst looks of the night…

Skylar Grey
Wow…this biege cut out dress by Michael Costello just awful. The color washes her out and all that pleated leather makes it even more unappealing.

Kaya Jones

Huh yea this one apparently has a record for dressing badly. We are not sure who created the spaghetti strap latex gown with double front slits, but one thing is for sure, it was not meant to be worn with underwear! Ugh!!!

The “Material Girl” looked anything, but glamorous in her suit by Ralph Lauren. To make her ill looking outfit complete, she included a walking cane and custom made “grill.” She really needs to stop it!

This last one was no surprise! Given her fashion track record, it can be anticipated for the soulful singer to show up wearing something a little unusual. Today, she chose a see through short sleeve lace gown that she tried to make “hippie chic.” Can someone please get this girl a stylist? I’ll do it!!! 🙂

Congrats to all the winners tonight, you did a job that was well done!
