2014 Oscars Best & Worst Dressed

It’s always a challenge to narrow down your top picks for best dressed when there are so many fabulous looks to choose from! Even with that being so, I still manage to find the winners…and the losers! Let’s start off with a few of my favorites:

Kristin Chenoweth

Chenoweth looked like a life size golden Oscar in her stunning gold geometric printed dress by Cavalli. She needed very minimal jewelry to pull off this look and her pixie cut fell right in line!

Giuliana Rancic

Talk about a modern day Cinderella!  Rancic who is no stranger to fashion, looked breath taking in the gown by Paolo Sebastian. It featured a beaded bodice and full tulle skirt.  Her diamonds were by Forevermark and her clutch was by Judith Leiber.

Kate Hudson

Looking like a glamorous movie star from the 1950″s, Hudson wore a deep plunged fitted gown and cape by Versace. This silk mermaid style dress will definitely be one of the most talked about of the evening!

Now for the looks that didn’t make it to the winners circle…

Lady Gaga

I have never been a fan of Ms.Gaga when it came to her fashion sense and even though this Versace gown is a far better attempt than any look I have ever seen her in…something just doesn’t sit right. The dress itself looks great,  however Lady Gaga looks pale and almost uncomfortable wearing it!

Veerle Baetens

I’m not sure who or what…but this is all wrong! The spaghetti straps are way too small, the leather band and crepe  style just doesn’t work. This bohemian look is not one for the Oscar’s!

Liza Minelli

So I got to give it up to the 67 year old woman for “trying” to be daring, but in all seriousness, really Liza? Not only did she go with electric blue streaks in her hair to match her silk pant suit (which also featured uneven sleeves), but she also foregoed a bra! Ummm grandma,  it is never the time or the place to step out without your bra! One question…need a stylist?
