Nothing is more refreshing then wearing cool toned colors in cool weather! Spring was all about wearing pastel colors and could be seen anywhere from clothes to make up and even hair! Today we are still seeing the trend and a great way to rock it is with a great outerwear piece like this Asos biker vegan leather jacket! Rocking it with skinny jeans, a cute blouse, jewled clutch and other fun accessories is just the beginning of endless looks that can be created with this jacket.

I love bright colors especially when they are worn in the Fall and Winter! We all know that when its cold the only thing we really want to wear are sweats along with our favorite pair of socks and call it a day. The farthest thing on your mind is trying to put any extra effort into what you are going to wear.
Its so easy to allow the weather to dictate not only what clothes you will wear, but your mood. However, I challenge you to make the effort and wear some of those colors you would normally wear in Spring/Summer into the Fall/Winter. You would be surprised at how much it not only effects your mood, but your entire day! 🙂

The were many looks, but none of them could compare to how these lovely ladies looked at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles last night. Here are my top 3 favorites from the red carpet!
Kate Beckinsale looked picture perfect in this fitted low plunging gown by Kaufmanfranco. Her loook was accentuated by a Bulgari diamond studded snake necklace and clutch by Lee Savage.
Julianne Hough wore an amazing coral colored halter dress that featured a thigh high split that showcased her toned legs and a train to follow. Her dress was by one of my favorite designers, Zuhair Murad, her shoes were by Tamara Mellon and her clutch was also a Lee Savage collection.
This lady was also not afraid of showing a little leg in her dress (which was very similar to Julianne Hough’s). Fergie’s dress was by Halston, which featured a gold belt that complimented her gold multi strapped shoes by Versus.
Whose ready for the holiday season? Anna Kendrick is and she sported just the right look at the Dolce & Gabbana Christmas tree party in London this past Wednesday. I just love how her hair is up, providing full attention to the lace detail of this tea length dress which is no surprise, by Dolce & Gabbana. The red color is also bold and invigorating, which I am sure had heads turning when she entered the room! I’m ready for more holiday looks, how about you?
How cute is this! A little bit of edge mixed with chíc sophistication! Made from vegan leather featuring quilted details and buckles at the side. I would definitely rock these with a red long sleeve cropped sweater that is slightly off the shoulder and a pair black skinny jeans. What about you? So I have this jacket that I absolutely adore. It’s an oldie, but goodie (at least 5 years old), yet I still get plenty of compliments when I wear it! I learned a long time ago that it doesn’t matter how “old” a piece is, its about how you take care of it. In addition, it also goes a long way if you invest in the best quality (notice I said “invest,” that does not always mean you have to spend more money)!
I believe I have been able to preserve many pieces of clothing in my closet, because I look for the best when it comes to the material. I hate polyester like most people and I can’t stand wearing an item for the day and then having to deal with pilling. It is possible to get high quality clothes for a low affordable price. You either have to take your time and search around or pay someone else to do the work for you! 😉

These past two weeks have been long, and have tested my Faith and patience on several levels. With all that being said, I am still grateful that I serve an awesome God who is ever present in my time of need. My Head Bishop reminded us today that the moment we decide to live for Christ, hardships were expected. He also related our trials and tribulations to that of child bearing.
When things begin to happen one after another like labor pains that increase, you have to get ready to push. The purpose of pushing is because something is about to come out of you like never before! You have to choose to praise God in the midst of what is or isn’t happening so a greater thing can come forth. As it was further explained, whatever way life throws you, you have to be like a cat and land on all fours!
Life is going to be filled with challenges and some of them will be inevitable. You have to make up in your mind that regardless the circumstances you will stay faithful and do what you are suppose to do. You were created to praise and worship God. It is when you do just that, that God will work out everything else on your behalf :). Great Sunday Everyone!
