At 22 weeks, I can say I feel good for the most part. Despite the occasional “growing pains” and back ache, I can’t complain too much. I choose to focus on the end result knowing that it will all be worth it in a little while! Plus, dressing the bump in stylish looks can be challenging enough so I think I am just going to redirect my focus…and do a little shopping! Lol

I love wearing dresses in the summer especially during this summer heat! On this day I am modeling a cotton tube stripped dress that was a steal of a deal at H&M (like $8)! I decided to belt it with a cardigan to give it more of a “work”/”church” appropriate look. Next throwing on my favorite pair of sandals and my look is complete!
SN: I got you thank my little guy for taking this weeks picts, he loves taking pictures and is getting better each time!

One of the good things about having children close in age is that the clothes from one pregnancy, generally work for the next. This dress is no exception! I find it funny how originally, I could only see myself wearing this dress when I was pregnant.
I remember when I first bought this dress thinking “this is only temporary.” Little did I know, I just needed the right time to wear it with just the right piece! I guess I just created another great look for even after pregnancy… winning!

I normally don’t wear scarves out in public, however since it’s about time for me to switch up the hair, I decided to try something new. This scarf actually belong to my grandmother (on my mom’s side) and it is from Ghana in West Africa. I never had the pleasure of meeting her before she passed away, so when my mom gave me one of her scarves, I felt I had an instant connection to my heritage.
Today, I wanted to share a little piece of that with the world. I have enjoyed the feedback when people tell me how much they love the print or how great it looks coordinated with my outfit. I especially love, when they ask, “where is it from?” Then I can proudly say, “It’s from Ghana and it belonged to my grandmother!” 🙂

Like most of my titles that describe either what I am wearing or how I am feeling, this one is no different. I am literally going with the flow. At times it can be challenging trying to find what to wear as you progress in pregnancy because one day your clothes fit perfectly and the next, they don’t. Instead of getting frustrated though, turn to those easy to wear pieces that require little to no effort. In this case, you can never go wrong with a pair of black pull on pants, a fun top, a cardigan and comfortable shoes!

Ok the last few days have been ridiculously hot! So much so that even after starting my car for 15 minutes, the air conditioner still doesn’t seem to be on full effect! I have always been a fan of summer…that is up until now, and add being pregnant, my God!
So here I am sporting another maxi style that I love (I actually had to cut 3 inches off because it was super long). I decided to add this fun hair accessory because it is not typically something I would wear. I think my look came together quite nicely, what do you think?

Today was all about being casual chíc when I thought about this “earthy” look! This is great with a sweater for wear to work or an indoor business function where it’s cooler or without when it’s time for some fun in the sun! Shirt dresses are a definite must have for the season and no girl’s closet should be without one!
