Sometimes we get caught up with all the challenges of life and it’s not until either something drastic happens or we have had enough, that we ask ourselves, “How did I get here?” When you examine your life, you are where you are based off of the choices you’ve made whether good or bad. However, when you have made the wrong decisions, it’s about how you respond that will determine what happens next.
I used to tell my team, “control your controllables.” Meaning, you decide where your next move will be. Don’t get down and dishearten about what happen or could have been, but focus on what can be. Redirect your way of thinking and find out what your true purpose is. Do what makes sense and most importantly, do what makes you happy. #purposefilled

The Golden Globe Awards is definitely the place to see the best and worst for style in dress. This year certainly didn’t disappoint especially with these top 11 picks of the night (I had to add Naomie Harris when I could finally get a picture of her dress in full view! 😍)
This just in, my favorite of the night: Naomie Harris!
Others that came in fierce without a doubt…
Left to right: Emily Rutajkowski and Janelle Monae. Shimmer and shine was definitely represented this evening with these ladies that kept it classy and sexy!
Left to right: Regina King, Kristen Cavallari, Mandy Moore and Riley Keough. Who could forget the fellas! Here were three very different looks that showed each individual’s style and was super hot down the red carpet!
Left to right: Tom Ford, Jeremy Renner and Sterling K. Brown.
Which were your favorite looks?
Love this fitted gown by Jenny Packham! Mirren Looked stunning at The Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG) this past Saturday in Los Angeles. The beaded silver gown is very classic and appropriate on the 70 year old actress. What do you think?

What a beauty! Zendaya was looking all grown up and very sophisticated last Sunday, August 16th at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles. She rocked a ruffled bandeau top with a long black skirt with front high split. Her look was by Ashi Studio with accessories from Le Vian. I love this girl’s sense of style and know it will continue to get even better!
The memorable night was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in N.Y on Monday where the theme was “China: Through the Looking Glass.” Now it’s hard not too mention all of the skin that was shown from celebrities like Beyonce, J. Lo, Kim Kardashian West, however I am all about dressing the part and for me the following were the most artistic and and fell right in line for the occasion!
First up is from the stylish Solange Knowles in Giles. It was all about the dress and it made a very bold statement and sort of reminded me of looking into kaleidoscope! Super unexpected!
Another favorite is from rising starlet Zendaya wearing Fausto Puglisi. I love how darling and age appropriate she looks. This dress was by far a favorite for me on the red carpet!
Lastly, Bee Shafer showed up in a more traditional style, but with a flare. The dress, by Alexander McQueen, was an Asian inspired gown with floral print and mini train. The fitted gown is perfect and the blood red color definitely makes a bold statement!
Now those were my favorite looks of the night, who wore yours?
Blake Lively is also one of the latest celebrity stars to have just given birth and is looking amazing! Blake’s first major appearance was at the Gabriela Cadena show during New York Fashion Week this past Thursday. Her black and white low cut bodycon dress by Gabriela Cadena featured two zippers down the bottom half, allowing her to adjust for just enough leg!
I have always loved Blake’s style and her great fashion sense. This dress is perfect on her and I especially love the white Christian Louboutin strap up pumps. Lastly, her jacket just over her shoulders and the pop of yellow from her clutch says she is all about mixing a little business with pleasure!
Tonight’s award show was definitely filled with looks that ranged from sparkly dresses to jumpsuits to lots of cleavage! Below you will find my top 3 favorites from the affair!
I think my favorite of the night had to go to Modern Family starlet Sarah Hyland in Christian Siriano. Her tea length dress featured three different pattern styles, which helped to make her stand out for all the right reasons!
Next up is actress Allison Janney looking bedazzled and statuette in Rani Zakhem. I love the cut of this dress and the daring plunging line, which the co-host was not afraid to show she can still be sexy at age 55!
One of my favorite fashionistas, Giuliana Rancic went for a more classics look for the affair wearing designer Tony Ward. The detail on the dress and the cool minty green color was refreshing and had be ready for Spring!
