Things That Make You Go Mmmm…

So I don’t get it. What’s going on with making of denim these days? Over the last month I have seen denim, in my opinion, at its worst. Personally, I love a great relaxed pair of boyfriend denim jeans with tasteful deconstruction. Nowadays, there is nothing tasteful, tactful or presentable about some of the denim out there. To top it off, some of these styles are designer brands costing upward of $1000!

Personally I just can’t make sense of spending a $1000 or even $20 for a 1/3 of a jean. If I were into any of the above styles, you better believe I would by the cheapest pair of jeans I could find and DIY! I get that as time goes on that change is expected with fashion and looks tend to get reinvented. However, where do you draw the line of inappropriate and just silly?

How do you feel about the above styles? Would you wear them and if so where to?

A Stylish Affair: A Look Inside

image

Just last Sunday I had my first showcasing event and I still can’t believe how much of a success it was! It’s amazing how you can have an idea and then it cultivates into something bigger than what you could ever imagine. I am so thankful to have such great family and friends to help to make my day so special. Most importantly,  I am so happy I decided to listen to God and walk in my giftings!
