I love helping people feel good by looking great on the outside and boosting their confidence. However, notice I said “boosting.” Having self confidence in my opinion is not something that a person gives you, but helps you to expose what you already possess. It’s about being able to recognize it and to be willing to make some changes.

Change is not something that is always something easy to do, yet it needs to be done in order for you to grow and reach your potential. At the end of the day, I can help you look like a million bucks, but if you don’t think you are worth it, no one will believe you are either. You need to tap into the things that make you feel alive and worth living.

Be encouraged by motivational messages from speakers like Lisa Nichols and Tony Robbins and others. If all else fails, you have the Word of God. The Bible is your instruction for life and in it you can find encouragement. Pray and ask God who He has called you to be and don’t be afraid to be bold and be confident walking in it!

No Worries

Service was definitely on point today. Bishop spoke from 1 Peter 5:5-10 in which he encouraged our souls. One of the things he  discussed was not allowing the thoughts and opinions of others to effect us.  Furthermore, getting to a point where we say, “I don’t care”… literally.

In life, we often give credit to the wrong people. These people tend to control how we think, what we say and how we act because we are afraid of their perception of us. Know that God does not have you here living for other people.

He has you here living for Him. To give Him the glory, to teach and preach about His goodness. If Jesus was persecuted because he followed after God, how much more you? We are simply here to do what he has called us to do and are enjoying some of the perks along the way.

We have to stop being fearful of the unknown and not allow people to be apart of our life that shouldn’t. Life is truly too short to live it through the eyes of someone else. Focus on the right things and be true to yourself and who God made you to be. When you do, you will ALWAYS win.

Do You Know Where You’re Going?

I really enjoyed service at church today! We had a great time ushering in the Spirit and hearing the promises of God spoken through our Bishop. Outside of feeling the presence of God, I felt  empowered  when I heard my Bishop say, “Your background doesn’t have to be your conclusion.”

I think often when we are down and out and been through trial after trial in life, we begin to feel like their isn’t any hope. As if the deliverance we keep holding out for, will never come.  It is important to know no matter what it looks like, God is with you every step of the way.

When it comes to trials, in order to get to the good, you must get through the bad. This may involve you loosing things and people from your life. However, when it’s all said and done, everything that had to happen, will now put you in position for greater.

No matter what you face in life, know that this is your test and you were built for it. Remember, no weapon formed against you shall prosper.  It didn’t then and it won’t now. Be blessed!

Push Your Way Through It

These past two weeks have been long, and have tested my Faith and patience on several levels. With all that being said,  I am still grateful that I  serve an awesome God who is ever present in my time of need. My Head Bishop reminded us today that the moment we decide to live for Christ, hardships were expected. He also related our trials and tribulations to that of child bearing.

When things begin to happen one after another like labor pains that increase, you have to get ready to push. The purpose of pushing is because something is about to come out of you like never before! You have to choose to praise God in the midst of what is or isn’t happening so a greater thing can come forth. As it was further explained, whatever way life throws you,  you have to be like a cat and land on all fours!

Life is going to be filled with challenges and some of them will be inevitable. You have to make up in your mind that regardless the circumstances you will stay faithful and do what you are suppose to do. You were created to praise and worship God. It is when you do just that,  that God will work out everything else on your behalf :). Great Sunday Everyone!

In the Process: Creating a New Me

It has been a blessed and eventful week! I have had the opportunity to meet and network with some incredible ladies who are business owners and leaders in their own right! The experience has lead me to the kind of people I want to be around even the more as well as have success with. Who knew the results of listening and trusting God could be so amazing!

Isn’t it funny how we often question ourselves when it comes to our dreams and what we want in life instead of the unimportant stuff? Understand that no matter where you are in life, it is never too late to really trust God. The Bible says in John 14:6, that God is “the way, the truth and the light,” and I expect Him to be just that. I’m so excited about the next stages of my life and especially in business that I can’t help, but wear a smile.

All I have to say is, this woman is going to another level and there is nothing stopping me! God wants us all to be blessed and it starts with seeking Him first. “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him,” 1 Corinthians 2:9. Do you know where God wants to take you?

Stay tuned because I’m going after the desires of my heart and in the process, I’m creating a new me! đŸ™„

The Blood Line

Over the past two Sundays my Bishop had been preaching from Galatians 6. One of the things he mentioned and had me thinking about was how things can be passed from one generation to the next. Sometimes we struggle in life with certain things not understanding why we have been “dealt the hand” that has been given to us. At times many of the problems that have occurred are the results of our own doing while others are the result of generational curses that have passed down the family blood line.

Such might be poverty where everyone in your family is always broke and have struggled to financial freedom. Perhaps its your lack of education because everyone in your family has a history of dropping out of school. Or, maybe you struggle with drug addiction like everyone like those that surround you.

Just because someone said you will never be anything in life, doesn’t mean you have to believe it. Though something negative may have been spoken over your life and those of your loved ones, you have the power to change it. Generational curses can be broken, you just have to take the first step in believing you can conquer it with the help of God. The Bible says in 1 John 4:4, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

Make your requests known to God and ask him for His help with whatever your struggling with today. It may not be easy at first, but take Him at His word and trust that He will carry you through.

Be blessed!

Trust & Believe

Did you know that God has already given you the power to overcome and accomplish anything that comes your way? It’s just up to you to believe. Often we allow the enemy to deceive us in thinking that you will never have what is already our God given birth right.

The Bible says that in Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

By knowing God’s word we are able to fight against the trickery of the enemy and sin. We are also able to be more in tuned to the things in the spirit and know God’s will for or lives. The Bible doesn’t say that everyday will be easy, but you can rest sure that God will “…never leave nor forsake you,” Deuteronomy 31:8.

Remember the enemy comes to “steal, kill and destroy” (John 10:10), however God is the author and finisher of your life. Whatever your desire, make sure it’s in line with the will of God. Be encouraged and know that you are a seed of Abraham and you are entitled an inheritance. Where you start is not where you will end. Trust and Believe. Happy Sunday Everyone!
