Nothing New

It’s always great we you can pull out an old piece of yours and pair it with another old piece and still create an awesome look! I am all about that life, especially when you are a mom of three and a wife with a whole house and responsibilities like myself. It’s not easy to just “splurge” on yourself when you want to. That’s why it’s important to invest in the right key pieces when it comes to your wardrobe.

It’s not always about paying a lot to have the best quality in a product because I have bought some designer brands that were the cutest styles made out of the cheapest of fabrics. Even worse, after 2-3 wears, I am left with a pilling garment! When buying the right pieces, making sure to rotate them are also key because like anything you may love, you don’t want over use and have to throw it out sooner than later!

Cozy Chíc

The weather has been on both sides of the spectrum recently and honestly that’s alright by me. I love feeling warm and cozy and this shawl sweater I received as a birthday gift from the kids is just that! It also went perfect with my favorite pants that I don’t get to wear often because it is actually too big when I am not trying to lose baby weight 😁.

Another day, Another Dress

I love wearing dresses in the summer especially during this summer heat! On this day I am modeling a cotton tube stripped dress that was a steal of a deal at H&M (like $8)! I decided to belt it with a cardigan to give it more of a “work”/”church” appropriate look. Next throwing on my favorite pair of sandals and my look is complete!

The Shirt Dress

Today was all about being casual chíc when I thought about this “earthy” look! This is great with a sweater for wear to work or an indoor business function where it’s cooler or without when it’s time for some fun in the sun! Shirt dresses are a definite must have for the season and no girl’s closet should be without one!

Just Right

What a great night I had networking and partnering with other business minded women! This was also the perfect outfit to represent my fun and wild side as well :)! If you haven’t guessed it,  this chambray shirt is one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe and just like having a pair of white pants for the summer,  the outfit possibilities are endless!
My latest,  was pairing the top with a midi leopard skirt and mid calf boots. Because the print is a statement piece in itself,  I wanted to add a top that wouldn’t be too dressy yet still  kept it fun and flirty! Of course I had to add my favorite colored lipstick to complete the look!  What do you think?
